Child Safety Standards

InkVein's public standards for child safety, CSAE prevention, and reporting during Alpha and planned Beta testing.

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Current Age Eligibility

InkVein Alpha is limited to people age 18 or older. Beta testing will also remain limited to people age 18 or older unless InkVein formally changes the eligibility program in a future release. Minors are not eligible to participate in the current Alpha or planned Beta testing programs.

InkVein may use platform or store age and audience controls, account eligibility controls, and other safeguards appropriate to the testing program. These measures support the 18+ testing requirement but may not prevent every attempt to access the service.

Zero Tolerance For CSAE

InkVein prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), including the following:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
  • Sexual exploitation, grooming, solicitation, or sexualization of minors.
  • Trafficking or exploitation involving minors.
  • Attempts to obtain, distribute, request, advertise, or facilitate exploitative material involving minors.
  • Links or directions intended to facilitate access to exploitative material involving minors.

These rules apply across all InkVein surfaces:

  • Posts, comments, and profiles.
  • Groups and Group chat.
  • Quills and Events.
  • Uploaded media and other InkVein surfaces.

Reporting Child Safety Concerns

Use InkVein's in-app reporting system to report unsafe content or conduct. Available categories include:

  • Sexual or unsafe content.
  • Violence or threat.
  • Unsafe group or event behavior.
  • Other.

Urgent child safety concerns can also be sent to support@inkvein.app. This inbox is InkVein's public point of contact for child safety concerns during Alpha and Beta testing.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or appropriate law enforcement.

InkVein Response

InkVein may review reported content or accounts, preserve relevant evidence where appropriate, hide or remove content, restrict access, issue moderation actions, suspend or terminate accounts, escalate serious cases to Platform Admin, or take other safety measures permitted by InkVein policy.

If InkVein obtains actual knowledge of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), InkVein will take appropriate action, including removing or restricting access to the material and associated accounts as appropriate under applicable law and InkVein policy.

A report does not automatically result in a strike. InkVein's moderation authority remains responsible for determining any enforcement action.

Legal Reporting

InkVein complies with applicable child safety laws and maintains a process for reporting confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or another appropriate regional or national authority when required by law.

Good-Faith Reporting

Child safety reports should be made in good faith. Intentional misuse of InkVein's reporting systems may itself violate InkVein rules.
