Alpha Status

InkVein V0.1 Alpha is experimental and may change substantially. Features may be incomplete, unavailable, limited, changed, paused, or removed during testing.

Eligibility And Access

• The current Alpha is for California, United States residents who are 18 or older.
• The Alpha is free to participate in.
• Access is limited, invitation-controlled, and subject to review and availability.
• Submitting an application, completing the survey, joining Discord, or donating does not guarantee acceptance or an invitation.

Requesting Alpha access does not guarantee acceptance, invitation, or continued access. Submitting an Alpha application creates an applicant record but does not itself create an InkVein Alpha account or grant participation rights. If accepted, participation remains subject to InkVein's Alpha agreements and access controls.

Discord is optional for V0.1 Alpha application and participation unless a specific optional feature clearly states otherwise. An applicant is not required to provide or connect a Discord account merely to be considered for Alpha.

Acceptable Use

Use InkVein in a way that respects other people, their work, and the Alpha testing environment. Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass access controls, submit harmful or misleading material, interfere with security, harass others, or use Alpha spaces to run compensation or reward offers.

During the Alpha, user-created compensation or reward offers involving cash, cryptocurrency, gift cards, commissions, royalties, revenue share, equity, barter, or physical rewards are not permitted unless InkVein separately defines an official program.

Your Creative Work

You retain ownership of your underlying creative work. By using InkVein, you give InkVein the limited operational permission needed to host, display, transmit, and provide the service for that work. Promotional or advertising use requires separate appropriate permission where required by policy.

Alpha creative content is not used for generative-AI training without separate affirmative permission.

Groups And Collaboration

Disband permanently ends Group operations and membership. Detaching Assets ends the Group's operational authority; it does not transfer or extinguish creator rights or grant InkVein additional ownership or license. Creator attribution and provenance remain preserved. Former membership does not grant archive access; creators can contact Support about removal.

Groups can organize collaboration. Group owners or admins may manage membership and workspace functions that the product permits, but group leadership does not transfer ownership of a creator's underlying work. Private or internal group context is not public merely because a group exists.

Assets, Shared Work, And Creator Rights

Creators retain their rights in Assets and shared work. Uploading material grants InkVein only the limited operational permission needed to host, display, transmit, moderate, and provide the service. The uploader is responsible for having the rights needed to submit the material. Group participation, leadership, disband, or account deletion does not transfer copyright to InkVein or the Group.

Personal, unshared Assets are normally removed with a deleted creator account. Shared or collaborative Assets may remain when an active collaboration, Artifact, or historical record legitimately depends on them. In that case the live profile is removed, attribution may appear as “Deleted creator,” and restricted provenance may be retained for attribution, moderation, legal, dispute, or removal-review purposes. Retention does not grant InkVein additional reuse, promotional, ownership, or generative-AI training rights.

A creator or other rightsholder may contact Support after deletion to request removal. A deletion receipt or secure former-account association may help verify a request, but independent rights claims do not require an active account or receipt. Collaborative or disputed ownership may require human review.

Moderation And Enforcement

InkVein may review reports and enforce Alpha rules using an incident-scoped moderation process. Moderators work within defined limits, and sensitive or permanent account actions are reserved for Admin review. Appeals are handled by Admin.

Third-Party Services

InkVein relies on third-party providers for infrastructure, authentication, email delivery, analytics, diagnostics, hosting, storage, and related operations. These may include Supabase, Railway, Discord, Loops, PostHog, and Sentry where enabled or used for the Alpha.

Account And Service Changes

InkVein may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when needed to protect the service, other users, or the Alpha. Account holders can permanently delete their account through Settings in the app. People who cannot sign in can use the public account deletion resource or contact support@inkvein.app. Deletion ends Alpha access and provides a one-time deletion receipt before sign-out. Some restricted information may remain where reasonably necessary or legally permitted for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, moderation or audit history, appeals, disputes, backup integrity, attribution, or Artifact/provenance records.

At the end of Alpha, a participant may delete the account or explicitly choose to keep it for Beta. The keep choice is timestamped and versioned; non-response is not affirmative retention consent. A separately selected marketing subscription is independent from the account and remains subject to normal unsubscribe or removal controls.

Donations

Alpha participation is free. Donations are voluntary. InkVein may accept voluntary financial support through its website. Supporting InkVein does not improve Alpha acceptance odds and does not purchase or guarantee Alpha access, priority, features, ownership, equity, moderation influence, favorable treatment, or rights in InkVein or another user's work.

Unless expressly stated otherwise under applicable law, support contributions are not represented as charitable tax-deductible donations.
